I love getting breakfast any time of the day. The staff is nice. They say hello when you walk in the door.
My husband and I wanted to grab something to eat on our way home. We decided to go to the Huddle House in Soddy Daisy since it was so close by. First off, the waitress' face was covered in sweat. Half of my husband's food came out, which he sat aside to wait for the other half. Then I was told they were out of philly steak and had been all day (my order). We we're very patient but eventually had to leave. They attemped to charge us close to $8 for our coffee! Needless to say, I do not recommend this restaurant!
Depends on who cooking if food be good or not and if doing take out don't be surprise if food cold as soon as you walk out the door but I haven't been in over a month so maybe it gotten better
When I first arrived to place a to go order, I was informed they were out of straws. But it gets worse. The man irritably waiting beside me also for a to go order informed me of how they were also out of biscuits and bags. Carrying out 3 boxes and 4 bowls trying not to spill them and nobody offered for help. As I waited patiently watching my food being cooked I lost my appetite. I watched them cook with no gloves, the cook wipe their sweaty forehead and resume to touch waffles, also watching the shift lead, Beth, run around trying to do everything also without gloves touch her nose and wipe it on her pants and then took an order and THEN grabbed toast. I couldn't help but notice the hair balls in the floor beneath my feet and the left over food all over the place literally. Got my food in a box with holes in it. Now having no bag, all the grease leaked into my seat. One lady came up to me and actually washed her hands and made a joke and laughed "still haven't got your order yet ha" then she just walked back in the back. The pans are gross.This place needs to be inspected unexpectedly. Once I got home to throw away the trash, I realized they did not give me toast or my apple butter
The place is a disaster. I went here for lunch and ordered to go. The place was filthy. There is no way the cooking area passes health code. No one wears gloves. People touch money, mop handles, doors, themselves and anything else and then reach into bags for fries and other food items with their bare hands, all without once washing their hands. The staff is completely out of control. There were less than a dozen customers, and half that in staff. It should have been easy to meet the orders. Instead everyone is asking the others what they should be doing and running around without a clue. The tall cook that did try to give some direction, acted as if she was hyped on drugs. Part of my order was made incorrectly, my burger was cooked to the point I could not chew it, nothing had salt or seasoning. The fries were soggy and cold, and I knew this ahead of time because I heard them say the pulled them out early. They did not even give me napkins or plastic utensils. Needs new owners and managers, or needs to be shut down before they hurt a customer or themselves.
